Are You Sick of Shaving Your Legs and Bikini Area? Here Are Some Less Painful Alternatives!

If you’re anything like me, then you absolutely hate shaving! Most of us started shaving during our teenage years and continue to shave every other day or so in order to keep our legs smooth, and armpits/bikini area hair free.

But if you think about it, shaving isn’t a very good way to accomplish this. Sure it gets rid of the hair, but then it grows back usually within a couple days. And then you have to deal with the ingrown hairs, the razor burn….. and that awful bumpy rash, which is absolutely horrible to have in your bikini area.

One alternative is using a depilatory cream such as Nair. These are relatively cheap and simple to use. Just apply the cream, leave it for a few minutes while it dissolves the hair, then wipe away. Definitely better as far as not having the razor burn/bumps and no pain involved.

The downside to these creams however is that they don’t last very long, as the hair grows back pretty quick just like with shaving. But if you can’t stand razor burn, this is an alternative to consider.

Something better that I’ve discovered is the No!No! hair removal system. It’s a device that you run over the hair like a razor, but instead of shaving it uses heat to crystalize the hair, which you rub away with a buffing pad.

The device is somewhat expensive (I’ve seen it anywhere between $100 to $250) but if you use it over time the results are absolutely fantastic! I’ve personally been using it for about 6 months, and now my legs stay smooth for 8 weeks at a time. Compare that to shaving! Another plus with the No!No! system is that it’s absolutely pain free, all you feel is a little warmth when you use the device, and more importantly, you don’t have any ingrown hairs, razor burn, or bumpy rash!
